From £40.00 per person, per night - double occupancy inclusive of breakfast.
From £45.00 per person, per night - single occupancy inclusive of breakfast.

Booking and Payment

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking, on receipt of which, confirmation will be sent.
The outstanding balance is required on arrival.
We accept cheques in sterling, drawn on British banks, or cash.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.30am on the day of departure. Guests may arrive early, by prior arrangement, but rooms cannot be guaranteed to be ready.

Cancellation by you

If, for any reason cancellation is made, charges are as follows:-
more than 28 days, 25% of full cost.
28 - 14 days, 50% of full cost
less than 14 days, 100% of full cost.

Why we have this cancellation policy?

A room cancellation in a 50 room hotel would amount to just 1% of the total capacity of that hotel and therefore any cancellation has little effect on their overall business for that day. In the case of a bed & breakfast any cancellation represents a far greater proportion of our business and in the case of Whitefield each room represents 50% of our capacity. That is why guesthouse Cancellation Policies are generally less flexible than those of the hotels. By taking your reservation, we agree to keep a room or rooms available to you, to the exclusion of all others, for when you requested. As a small business Whitefield would not like to find that income is suddenly lost due to a cancellation through no fault of the proprietors.

Cancellation or alteration by us

In the unlikely circumstance that we find it necessary, we reserve the right to amend or cancel bookings.

In such an event you will be offered;
a) alternative holiday arrangements
or
b) full refund of monies paid.

We strongly advise that you arrange holiday insurance to cover costs of cancellation or other risks.

If you have a problem during your stay at Whitefield Bed & Breakfast, Totland Bay, Isle of Wight, please bring it to our attention, so that we can resolve it before you leave.
